Home health agency CareFinders recently announced that it has completed its acquisition of DanielCare Caring Choice, a Stamford, Connecticut-based provider of personal home care services.
The financial terms of the deal were not disclosed.
Founded in 1995, Hackensack, New Jersey-based CareFinders provides home health care services to more than 8,500 patients throughout New Jersey and Connecticut. It has 22 offices in total.
DanielCare Caring Choice provides private-duty in-home care, companion and homemaker services on an hourly or live-in basis, serving Fairfield County, Connecticut.The acquisition expands the company’s footprint in Connecticut and fits into its larger growth and expansion strategy.
Additionally, Daniel Kraus, the founder of DanielCare, will become the executive director of CareFinders CT.
“DanielCare has shown enviable growth and maintains an impeccable reputation for highly personal, hands-on, ‘high touch’ care,” Jim Robinson, CEO of CareFinders, said in a press release. “With the expanded footprint in Connecticut, this acquisition takes us one step closer to our goal of becoming the [No. 1 home care services] company in the Northeast.”
