Mzia has been with CareFinders since 2005. Her diverse medical experience, infectious optimism and ability to overcome challenges make her the perfect Director of Nursing.

Born in Georgia in the USSR, Mzia attended Medical School, specializing in Radiology and later, Neurology. She worked as a Neurologist for 13 years in the city of Tbilisi.

Then in 1996, she and her family moved to the US. After learning the English language, Mzia was halfway to successfully becoming a board certified US physician, when she was derailed by series of family issues and crises.

Ever the optimist, she became a registered nurse. To support her family, she worked in Day Care and a Rehabilitation Center, before eventually being recruited by CareFinders.

Says Mzia, “I Love my job! It is rewarding, satisfying, sometimes sad, but mostly exiting and heartwarming!
